pOn the afternoon of Monday March 24th Battalion 2 companies were dispatched to Rt 45 across from the Home Depot for a reported brush fire. Battalion Chief 2202 Boyle arrived amp reported a 100×100 brush fire off the roadway in a ravine. The crew from brush truck 2225 arrived and went into service . Engine Co. 2221s crew arrived and assisted in extinguishment. Homeowners reported seeing children in the area prior to the fire. The fire is under investigation by the Mantua Township Fms Office. Crews operated for about 30 minutes with no incident.p
